POLICE are today hunting an inmate who absconded from Hollesley Bay prison.
Ashley Coe went missing from the open unit between 10pm on Tuesday and 8am on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old is described as white, 6ft 1ins of slight build and has brown eyes, brown hair and a scar above his right eye.
Coe, who was serving three months for threatening behaviour and due for release on February 23, has connections with the Coggeshall area of Essex.
Police are advising people not to approach Coe, but to call 999 immediately.
