POLICE are today hunting a sex attacker who indecently assaulted a woman in Ipswich.The attack happened early on Sunday as the woman was walking in Franciscan Way.
POLICE are today hunting a sex attacker who indecently assaulted a woman in Ipswich.
The attack happened early on Sunday as the woman was walking in Franciscan Way.
She was approached from behind by the assailant.
The man grabbed her but the woman tried to fend him off.
The brief struggle ended when the offender sprayed the woman in the face with an unknown substance from an aerosol can.
He then indecently assaulted her before fleeing.
The assault happened around 2.50am.
Officers today issued a description of the attacker and appealed for anyone with information that might lead to his arrest to come forward.
The man is described as short with short dark hair of Eastern European
appearance.
