DETECTIVES have launched a rape investigation after a teenage girl was assaulted in Cambridge.
The attack took place in an alleyway off St Andrew's Lane in the city at about 1am today a police spokeswoman said.
It is believed the 16-year-old victim was lead down the alleyway by a man she met at the Revolution bar in the city.
Police say the attacker is believed to be 19 or 20, with short dark brown spiked hair, between 5ft 7in and 5ft 8in and of athletic build.
