AN investigation is underway after a body was found just north of a historic Suffolk market town.
Police are treating the death as suspicious and an area off the B1120 at New Road, not far from Brabling Green, near Framlingham has been cordoned off.
The body was discovered at the side of the road around 12.45pm this afternoon.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service reporting that a lady who had been walking along the lane had found the body of a male.
Police, including scenes of crime officers, are at the location and cordons have been put in place while initial enquiries get underway.
Anyone who may have been in this area in the past few days who may have seen anything - people or vehicles - in the vicinity is asked to call Suffolk Police on 01473 613500.
