POLICE are today investigating two separate allegations of assault on women across the county.
An alleyway off Westley Road in Bury St Edmunds, and a layby on the A1071 at Hintlesham, have been cordoned off while police carry out their inquiries.
Officers say they are at an early stage in investigations and are still trying to establish exactly what has happened at both locations. The reported incidents are not being linked.
Police want to speak to anyone who was near the Territorial Army Centre in Bury St Edmunds late on Tuesday or early yesterday morning, or who may have been using or passing the layby on the A1071 late last night.
Calls should be made to Bury or Sudbury CID on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
