Police are investigating after a brick was thrown through a salon window in Ipswich and the till was searched.
The Flawless Image salon, in Fore Street, was targeted early this morning but it is not yet known if anything has been stolen.
Forensics will attend the scene today to conduct further investigations. No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said: “We were called at 2.56am this morning. A man smashed the window using a brick.
“The alarm went off and officers attended. Officers are investigating a burglary and the till has been accessed and searched.
“We are waiting for forensics to attend the scene. No arrests have been made.”
A post on the Flawless Image Facebook page read: “Sadly, the salon had a brick put through the window in the early hours of this morning.
“Please bear with us whilst the police and forensics team do their work. The salon will be open at 10am as normal.”
