Police cordoned off an area opposite Trafalgar Close in Ipswich after receiving an allegation of assault from a man
Police have now lifted a cordon which was put in place by police opposite Trafalgar Close in Ipswich last night.
Officers were contacted around 7.15pm yesterday by a man in his 40s who reported that he had been assaulted in the area earlier in the day.
They are currently working with the man to determine exactly what happened.
A police spokesman said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any incident in the area during Sunday afternoon.”
Call Suffolk Police on 101 with information, quoting CAD number 291 of yesterday.
