A 22-YEAR-OLD man killed when his car ploughed into a house in a Suffolk village has been named by police.
Jack Holyoak, from Horham, was pronounced dead at the scene of the tragedy on Friday night.
Police say he was driving a Vauxhall Vectra when he apparently lost control, careered off the road and crashed into Hill House in Harleston Road.
Emergency services were called, but Mr Holyoak was declared dead at the scene. It is thought he was thrown from the vehicle in the impact, although an investigation into what happened is under way.
The house was extensively damaged in the collision, which happened at about 9.30pm, and has been boarded up. It is believed to be the second time the property has been struck by a car in recent years.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to call Pc Andrew Fossey, of the serious collision investigations team, on 01473 613500.
