POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 75-year-old driver was critically injured in Stowmarket.The accident happened when a blue P-reg Rover Kensington collided with a white R-reg box van at the junction of Gipping Way and Station Road shortly after 6 am.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 75-year-old driver was critically injured in Stowmarket.
The accident happened when a blue P-reg Rover Kensington collided with a white R-reg box van at the junction of Gipping Way and Station Road shortly after 6 am.
The injured female car driver and her two passengers, a 39-year-old male and 40-year-old female, were taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the van was treated at the scene by paramedics but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
