POLICE are treating a blaze at a Haverhill carpet factory as suspicious.
Four fire crews were called to the fire at Bowes and Bowes in the High Street just before 8.00pm on Saturday and a council officer was called after fears that the two-storey building would collapse.
Fire crews from Haverhill, Clare and Bury had to wear breathing apparatus when quelling the fire.
A spokesperson for Suffolk police said they were investigating the cause of the fire and treating it as possibly suspicious.
