A man believed to be in his 30s has died at a house in Ipswich, despite the best efforts of paramedics to save his life.

Police were contacted by the ambulance service at just after 7.15am reporting that a man was unresponsive at a home in Spring Road.

An ambulance service spokesman said paramedics worked to save the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “At this stage, as in standard procedure, the death is being treated as unexplained, however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
