AN angry cyclist rode out in front of a car then followed the vehicle and damaged it after the driver shouted at him, police have said.

The man, in his early twenties, pulled out into Norwich Road in Ipswich close to its junction with Sherrington Road at 6.20pm on Sunday.

The car driver, who had to swerve, shouted at the cyclist to be careful and he then began to follow the car.

Police said the cyclist kicked the car on Bramford Road and again on Norwich Road when it was stationary outside the Co-op.

The cyclist was white, aged in his early twenties, of medium to slim build and with short brown hair that was shaved at the sides.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and grey jogging bottoms which had paint down the side of them.
