POLICE negotiators have helped save a man who was threatening to jump from the Orwell Bridge.
Suffolk officers were called at just after 11.30am yesterday to the suicidal man who was sitting on the bridge.
The Harwich lifeboat and Felixstowe and Holbrook coastguard teams were dispatched to the scene.
But the police managed to talk down the man within an hour and he was left in the hands of a crisis team.
