A 16-year-old girl was inappropriately touched while travelling on a bus last Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened on a bus travelling from the Old Cattlemarket bus station towards Felixstowe.

At around 2pm the girl was approached by a man who sat down next to her. He started talking to her before touching her on the leg.

Police would like to speak to the man in order to help with their enquiries into the incident.

He is described as being aged between 30 and 40, with short dark hair tied in several knots. He was wearing a black jacket with mustard coloured chino trousers and blue and white Nike trainers.

He was also believed to be wearing a thick silver chain round his neck and a black belt with silver studs.

He left the bus at Trimley St Martin.
