FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a young woman and a police officer from the River Gipping.The police officer had gone to the woman's rescue last night in the water outside the Punch and Judy pub in Bridge Street, Ipswich.
FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a young woman and a police officer from the River Gipping.
The police officer had gone to the woman's rescue last night in the water outside the Punch and Judy pub in Bridge Street, Ipswich.
Then at 11.17pm three fire crews were called to help them out of the cold water.
The rescue took 20 minutes and the woman and policeman were taken to hospital.
