A burglar with a history of crime in Poland has been jailed after a string of burglaries in east Suffolk.

Sebastian Ochocinski, 38, of Russell Road in Felixstowe, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday where he was sentenced to 28 months in jail.

The first took place overnight between December 11 and 12 in Langstons, Trimley St Mary, before committing further offences overnight on December 19 and 20 in Mill Close, Trimley St Martin and December 21 in Stennetts Close, Trimley St Mary.

In all three he used gloves and entered the properties by insecure doors and windows and stole items including cash, cards and tablets.

The court heard he had attempted to use stolen cards twice on gambling websites.

Ochocinski admitted a further three burglaries not on the charge that Judge John Devaux took into consideration.

He was sentenced to 28 months for each of the three burglaries to be served concurrently, as well as a month each for two drugs charges to be served concurrently.
