OFFICIALS at the Port of Felixstowe said 85 per cent of the container terminal was open today after a massive snow clearance operation.
For the first time in four days, drivers were able to collect containers.
Previously, there had been a limited facility for delivering boxes but imported containers could not be processed.
A port spokesman said snow clearance work was continuing and it was hoped to have the whole port open again by this evening.
