POLICE are hunting an on-the-run prisoner from Hollesley Bay jail, near Woodbridge.
Terry Neil Morgan, 28, who was serving a six year and six month sentence for possession of drugs with intent to supply, disappeared after attending a work placement in Ipswich on Wednesday.
He was due to be picked up in Crown Street at 5pm but failed to appear.
Morgan is black, 5ft 7ins, of thin to medium build with short, dark brown curly hair and brown eyes.
He has connections to Ipswich, the Penge area of London and the Thornton Heath area of Surrey.
Police advise anyone who spots him not to approach him but to call 999.
Anyone who has seen him or who may have information about where he is now should call Suffolk Police on 01473 613500 or their nearest police station.
