ONE Ipswich company has today declared itself “recession proof” after announcing an ambitious recruitment programme over the next three months.

Experiences Connect, based on Whitehouse Road, is looking to employ an extra 30 financial claims advisors as business continues to boom.

Director Steven Wells said the growing business needs more high quality staff to continue to market their services.

“This is an exciting time to join us and the career prospects are fantastic, that coupled with us being as near on recession proof as you can get,” he said.

“Given the current financial climate the services of the Claims Managers that we work on behalf of can really make a difference and we are pleased that we have contributed to thousands of clients receiving back over 90million of compensation, premiums and return of policy payments.”

In addition the company has released its end of year figures, announcing a 20per cent rise on last year's performance.

In February 2008, Experiences had a turnover was 1,060,000 and yesterday it announced that figure had risen to 1,268,000 in February.

Despite the worsening economic climate in recent months, Experiences appears to have bucked the national trend.

Last year the company almost doubled its staff base, from 34 employees in February 2008 to 62 members of staff currently working for the firm.

The rise in productivity created by the influx of members of staff means the company is predicting big things for the next year, with turnover expected to top 2.5million by February 2010.

Experiences acquires clients who may have been mis-sold endowment, pensions, payment protection insurance, unfair credit card and business bank charges.

It works with a view to obtain financial redress and compensation or a return of premiums and fees for the client on a no win no fee basis.
