A RESCUE mission was called for a man who appeared to be in difficulties in Woodbridge but was actually looking for an old mooring in a small dinghy.
A search was called at11.49am yesterday after the man appeared to be in difficulty in the mud on the River Deben.
A police helicopter joined officers, Felixstowe and Shingle Street Coastguard and the Harwich lifeboat to bring the man to safety.
However the search was called off at 12.36pm when it was discovered the man was just looking for an old mooring.
