A SUFFOLK couple who run a limousine company have stumped up £1,000 in a bid to find the arsonists who targeted their business.

As reported in The Evening Star last week Lyn Thompson and her children ran for their lives when their limousine company was targeted by arsonists.

Mrs Thompson, who runs 1st Choice Leisure in East Bergholt with husband Phil, said the incident, which involved a limo being set alight just feet from their home, put the lives of their young children in danger.

The worried parents now are offering a cash reward of £1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the person or people responsible.

Mr Thomspon said: “Someone this dangerous needs to be caught very quickly.

“I just feel from my family was threatened seriously by this and money doesn't really become an issue with something this serious.

“Unfortunately in today's society it helps people bring information forward if you offer money.”

The £1,000 reward from the Thompson's comes in addition to £1,000 reward already being offered by BKP Limousines in Barham which was subject to a similar attack.

On Friday June 29, Darren Milward, the owner of BKP limousines in Norwich Road, Barham drove a blazing car out of a line of vehicles to stop them all catching fire.

Anyone with information on either of the incidents is asked to contact Pc Ned Wright on 01473 613500.
