AN ELDERLY woman is in hospital today with serious injuries following a road accident in Colchester.The 88-year-old woman was a passenger in a Nissan Micra with another 54-year-old woman when the vehicle collided with a Vauxhall van.
AN ELDERLY woman is in hospital today with serious injuries following a road accident in Colchester.
The 88-year-old woman was a passenger in a Nissan Micra with another 54-year-old woman when the vehicle collided with a Vauxhall van.
A 38-year-old man from Halstead has been arrested on suspicion of careless driving and is being held in police custody.
The accident happened at around 12.10pm and anyone who saw the accident can call Stanway policing unit on 01206 762512.
