EMERGENCY services were called to the B1456 near Shotley after a car was involved in an accident.
The road was partially blocked when the green Mondeo was involved in that accident at Shotley Gate at about 8.50am yesterday.
An ambulance was called after reports of a woman hitting her head but a spokesman for the East Anglian Ambulance Service said the woman escaped uninjured.
