Robber strikes in Suffolk village

POLICE are hunting a wax-jacketed robber after he forced his way into a woman's home and robbed her.
Hadleigh Police are appealing for information after the incident in Hadleigh Road, Boxford.
A 32-year-old woman opened her door to a man who forced his way in and demanded cash.
When she refused, a struggle ensued, resulting in the woman being hit in the face.
The man left the house on foot after taking some personal items from her handbag.

He is described as unkempt, aged in his late 40s, 6ft tall, with mousey grey hair, and wore a green waxed jacket and blue jeans.
The victim was left with a bruised face and a small cut to her arm.
Police would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time, or who saw a man acting suspiciously either on foot or in a vehicle.
