Roof removed from car by firefighters to release casualty trapped after collision with lamp post

Firefighters had to rescue a casualty from a vehicle after it was in collision with a lamp post.

Two fire engines and a rescue vehicle were sent to the scene in Wentworth Road, Ipswich at 1.40pm today (April 13).

The crews removed the roof of the crashed vehicle and the casualty was released.

They were left in the care of the ambulance service.
