It was the first time people under the age of 18 had their creations presented at the renowned clothing trade show.

“It was so exciting to be part of London Fashion Week,” said Jasmine, who has just started in Year 7 at The Royal Hospital School. “The hair and make-up and walking down the runway was incredible.

“It was so amazing to see people looking at what I’d designed and made and to get such great feedback.”

Jasmine said she had always been interested in costume-making and had recently got into textiles, so the Future of Fashion show was a “dream opportunity”.

The youngster created a collection at the Future of Fashion Academy working under the guidance and tuition of Debbie Wingham, who is the founder of Future of Fashion and has worked with both celebrities and royalty.

Ms Wingham described Jasmine as a “dynamic young lady” who already had a strong sense of style, adding: “She was really rocking her designs on the runway at London Fashion Week.”
