HUNDREDS of runners took to the streets in the blazing autumn sunshine today, to tackle the Felixstowe half marathon.

More than 400 competitors battled windy conditions on the coast to complete the 13.1-mile course.

Big crowds lined the route cheering and enjoying the sunshine.

The event, which has been going since the 1980’s, is raising money for a Motor Neurone charity this year.
