WEST End theatre star Ruthie Henshall lived up to her pledge to sing in memory of her sister when she performed at a major concert in Wales.
Ruthie's sister Noel, 49, died suddenly in the United States on August 19 after collapsing at her home near San Francisco.
The international singing star, her sister Abigail, and mother and father, David and Gloria, had been at her bedside after flying to the States.
Ruthie, who lives at Manningtree, was already booked to perform at a high-profile concert on Sunday and vowed to sing for her sister.
She appeared at the Faenol Festival in Bangor, along with opera star Bryn Terfel, Michael Ball and Sound of Music star Connie Fisher.
Among the songs she performed was As if we never said goodbye, from Sunset Boulevard.
After her sister's death she said: “It is going to be very hard because we are endlessly in tears, but I'm going to sing my heart out for Noel.”
