Singers from across the region visited Sainsbury’s superstore at Hadleigh Road in Ipswich to help raise money for Comic Relief.
Funky Voices was set up 10 years ago and performs across the region – at more than 100 events a year.
With more than 300 members it has performed with big names like Tony Hadley as well as in its own concerts.
On Saturday the choir visited a number of Sainsbury’s stores – the supermarket giant is one of the partners of the Comic Relief charity that will be raising money with its telethon on BBC1 on Friday evening.
Funky Voices performed its chosen track for Comic Relief – Bang Bang by Jessie J – as well as other popular numbers for shoppers as they visited the store during the middle of the day.
This year’s Comic Relief will be hoping to break the £99m it raised in its last event in 2015 – and possibly the £104m record from 2011.
