A SEARCH is underway today for the master of a cargo vessel who has gone missing at sea.
The Russian national from the Swiss registered ship Heindrich G was reported missing at around 11pm yesterday.
Police, Thames Coastguard and an RAF rescue team from Wattisham airfield mounted a huge search at around 3.30am today scouring the sea and stretches of beach from Southwold to Harwich but have so far found nothing.
The remaining seven crew members from the 3694 tonne ship are today due to be questioned by Suffolk Police about the disappearance.
