Search launched for missing man

POLICE today appealed for help in finding a man who has been reported missing from Ipswich.

POLICE today appealed for help in finding a man who has been reported missing from Ipswich.

Alex Vachell, 46, went missing from the Foxhall Road area at about 1pm yesterday.

Mr Vachell, who lives in Old Homes Road, Thorpeness, is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, with short brown hair.

He has a tattoo of Chinese writing on his right hand and tattoos on both forearms.

When he was last seen he was wearing dark grey jeans and a blue sweatshirt.

Officers have checked Mr Vachell's home in Thorpeness and they say it appears he has not returned there.
