HALESWORTH: A search has been launched to find an elderly man who has gone missing from a residential home.
George Ward, 81, left The Limes residential home in London Road at 8.45am today.
He told friends that he was going to cycle to the nearby village of Wissett to prune fruit trees and was expected to return for lunch.
A police helicopter has been launched to try and find Mr Ward.
He is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build and wearing green trousers, a green coat, cream jumper, flat cap and wellington boots. Mr Ward also walks in a hunched style.
