MOTORISTS were subjected to delays in the rush-hour traffic tonight when two accidents happened in the same place on the A14 within the space of two hours.

Emergency services spent 30 minutes clearing the westbound lane of the A14 at Nacton after a lorry jack-knifed across the carriageway at 3.30pm.

But by 5pm they were at the scene again when two cars collided on the opposite side of the road in the Felixstowe direction.

There were no injuries in either accidents and the road was fully re-opened by 5.30pm.
