A 19-YEAR old woman badly injured in a road accident which killed a man has also died in hospital. The teenager, from the Diss area, was a back seat passenger in a white Renault Clio which left the B1077 at Witnesham on Wednesday at 10.15am.

The teenager, from the Diss area, was a back seat passenger in a white Renault Clio which left the B1077 at Witnesham on Wednesday at 10.15am.

Today police said she has died at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

The 24-year-old driver of the car, a man from Woodbridge, died when the car came off the road between Witnesham and Ashbocking.

Yesterday the Evening Star revealed that roads the road had not been gritted at the time of the accident.

Two other young passengers were taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident was the third on the road that morning.

Police are renewing appeals for anyone who saw the collision to contact them.
