A SUFFOLK man who stole more than £2,000 from a shipping company is to be sentenced later this month.Ian Boyd, 49, pleaded guilty to four offences of theft totalling £2,053 from Denholm Shipping Services Limited between September 1999 and December 2001.

Ian Boyd, 49, pleaded guilty to four offences of theft totalling £2,053 from Denholm Shipping Services Limited between September 1999 and December 2001.

At Ipswich Crown Court Boyd, of Fletcher Lane, Kesgrave, asked for 47 similar offences to be taken into consideration.

Judge John Holt ordered a pre-sentence report and released Boyd on bail until July 29 when he is due to be sentenced.
