EMERGENCY services were today at the scene of a serious road crash on the A120 near Bradwell.
Crews were called to the single carriageway road close to the Bridgehall Road junction at 11.45am after three vans and a car were involved in a crash.
Reports suggested one of the vehicles had landed on top of another and there were people trapped with serious injuries.
Firefighters from Colchester and Braintree were called to the four-vehicle accident on the Braintree-bound track.
Ambulance crews were also at the scene and were treating a woman in her thirties who was trapped inside her vehicle.
