Police were alerted to an altercation on Royal Plain in Lowestoft at around 1.50am on June 29.
A 47-year-old man was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston with neck and head pains and was subsequently transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridgeshire in a critical condition.
He sustained a fractured eye socket, fractured jaw, another fracture to his face and had to have more than 20 staples in his head after surgery.
Seven people arrested have now been charged.
Two have been charged with GBH and affray - 28-year-old Jed Cox, of Elm Tree Road, Lowestoft, and 19-year-old Ryan McKenna, of Windsor Terrace, Kessingland.
The other five, all from the Lowestoft area - 19-year-old Sam Adams, of Denmark Road, 21-year-old Blaine Dutton, of Seago Street, Alistair McKenna, 22, of Windsor Terrace, Kessingland, Steven Dutton, 23, of Seago Street, and 22-year-old Laura Cox, of Northfield Close, Outlton - have all been charged with affray.
Six of the seven are due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court on Tuesday, while Laura Cox will appear on September 14.
