POLICE are appealing for witnesses after five sheep died today - possibly following an attack by another animal.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after five sheep died today - possibly following an attack by another animal.
Police received a call at 11.36am to farmland at Ovington Road in Saham Toney, Thetford, to reports that two members of a herd of sheep had been found dead in the field.
Further enquiries found that three other sheep had sustained injuries so severe that they had to be put down by a vet.
Enquiries by the police and RSPCA indicate that the attack was possibly committed by an animal of some description.
