Registration is now open for this year’s Treehouse Colour Dash which raises money for young people with life-threatening conditions in the region.

Now in its third year, the event will take place on Sunday, May 29 in Ipswich’s Christchurch Park in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Hopeful participants are encouraged to sign up quickly as there are only 1,000 places available.

The 5km race will see runners showered with clouds of coloured powder as they make their way around the course.

Hannah Walker, EACH community fundraiser for Suffolk, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our Colour Dash back to Christchurch Park for the third year running. Ipswich held it’s first ever Colour Dash back in 2014 and the event is growing all the time.

“These events are such an impressive sight and great fun for all the family. It’s not a race, you can run, jog or walk the 5km route – just be prepared to be covered in colourful powered paint by our Colour Pirates!”

EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across the East of England and supports their families. The funds raised at this event will go towards providing these vital services.

Tickets available are: Adult (over 16s) £20; child (five-16) £10; under fives FREE; family £45; team (minimum 10 people) £17.50 per person.
