Drivers are currently experiencing long delays after a car crashed into the central reservation on the A14 eastbound at Nacton this evening.

Police and fire crews were called to junction 57 to reports of a single vehicle collision at around 5.17pm.

One lane is closed in both directions while officers and Highways England carry out recovery work.

A police spokesman said the driver sustained very minor injuries.

Highways England tweeted: “Lane 2 closure (both directions) likely to remain in place throughout the evening #A14 within J57 (#Nacton) for barrier repair work.”
