A DRAMATIC scene occurred at a speedway racing event in Ipswich last night when a driver crashed and had to be cut free.
Fire crews were called shortly before 9.30pm and it took an hour for the male driver to be cut free from his re-enforced steel car before he could receive medical treatment.
The incident happened at Foxhall Stadium, Foxhall Road, Ipswich.
