'Stoke Bridge Four' released

FOUR people who were arrested yesterday at Ipswich's Waterfront in connection with theft offences have been released without charge, police said today.

FOUR people who were arrested yesterday at Ipswich's Waterfront in connection with theft offences have been released without charge, police said today.

Inspector Matt Dee said the four had been detained at about 4pm after Suffolk police's helicopter had been sent to the skies earlier in the afternoon.

He added: “No further action was taken and no charges were made. They have been released.”
