Felixstowe Road, levington closed after roofing blows off building.
The road was closed in both directions between the Strattonhall Drift and the Bridge Road junctions.
A large section of a roof was blown off a property due to the high winds caused Storm Imogen, a police spokeswoman said.
The incident was reported to Suffolk Constabulary at noon and the Highways team from Suffolk County Council attended.
The road was re-open by 4pm.
