STUDENTS at Stowupland High School have every reason to be proud of their achievements at A and AS level this year, with many gaining straight A grades.
There was strong performances in many areas of the curriculum, including German, drama and art and design where whole groups gained A or B grades.
Among the individual success stories were Naomi Froude who gained four A grades and an A at AS level and goes on to study natural sciences at New Hall College in Cambridge.
Olivia Macey, 17, from Haughley also gained three A grades and an A grade at AS level and goes on to study mathematics at Southampton University.
Headteacher Mrs Grimes said: “We are proud of all our students and their achievement is the result of sustained commitment and determination, coupled with the support and dedication of the whole staff.
“Students and their parents have every reason to celebrate.”
