CLIFF Lane's 15th charity street fair is not far away but there is still time to book a stall or help with the entertainment.

The Ipswich street fair is being held on Wednesday December 10 and will include a visit by Father Christmas, there will be hot seasonal food, music, street entertainment and funfair.

Plus this year, the Co-op Juniors will be appearing in costume to perform a few numbers from their Christmas panto, Pinocchio.

As always the money raised on the night will be going to a local good cause and on this occasion it will be added to The Evening Star's Raise The Roof Appeal for Ipswich Hospital's cancer information and education centre.

Cliff Lane traders organise fairs twice each year and this time will follow in true tradition with the road being closed to make it a safe traffic-free zone so all the action can spread across the street.

The traders are also supporting Raise The Roof by selling themselves in calendar form for the appeal.

The fair is on from 6pm to 8pm and if you would like to book a stall – to raise money for your own good cause – please telephone either George Debman on 01473 251686, Keith Gooding at Suffolk Carpets on 01473 233680 or Simon Cudworth at the Post Office on 01473 253183.

n Cliff Lane Traders Uncovered calendars, are on sale at The Margaret Catchpole pub and shops in Cliff Lane and at The Evening Star reception price £3.50 each including envelope.
