Top East Anglian acoustic duo Silbury Hill will be performing at the next Ipswich Arts Association lunchtime concert.
The concert will take place on Thursday, August 10, from 1pm at the Museum Street Methodist Church in Black Horse Lane.
Silbury Hill, which features Scott Dolling on flute, guitar and vocals, and mandolin and vocalist David Stainer, have released three albums of original music inspired by the pair’s Suffolk background.
Scott Dolling said: “Much of our music is inspired by our Suffolk roots.”
David Stainer added: “You can expect songs and stories of Thomas Wolsey, Dunwich, St. Edmund, plus a few surprises along the way!”
Admission for the concert is free with a retiring collection at the end of the performance.
The gig is the latest in the IAA’s lunchtime concert series, and also organises the classical stages at Ipswich Music Day.
