A SUFFOLK couple have admitted swindling more than £64,000 from the public purse.
Rubin Ancell and Charlotte Ancell of Church Road, Heveningham pleaded guilty to a number of charges relating to benefit fraud from The Department for Work and Pensions.
Rubin, 37 and Charlotte, 37 admitted nine counts of making dishonest representations to claim benefit and to failing to notify the department of a change of circumstances.
Pre-sentence reports were ordered by Ipswich Crown Court and the pair were told to return to court to be sentenced on a date to be fixed.
