LESTER Piggott is making a good recovery his son-in-law said today.The champion jockey, who suffered heart problems while on holiday in Switzerland, is expected to stay in the Lausanne University Hospital where he is being treated for a short time.
LESTER Piggott is making a good recovery his son-in-law said today.
The champion jockey, who suffered heart problems while on holiday in Switzerland, is expected to stay in the Lausanne University Hospital where he is being treated for a short time.
Horse trainer William Haggas, said: “He is fine. His condition is not life-threatening. I don't know how long he will be in hospital but it will certainly be for a few more days.”
Wife Susan and daughter Maureen have been at the 71-year-old's bedside.
