People are taking to the beaches and parks of Suffolk in their droves to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather.
Temperatures reached highs of 14C yesterday in some parts of Suffolk, highs forecasters said are normally seen in May!
Weatherquest forecaster Chris Bell said: “We’ve had temperatures of around 14C in our region which is well above average for this time of year.”
The weather is expected to get cooler this weekend but there is no drought-ending rain expected yet.
Mr Bell added: “People are concerned about the drought but there is no significant rainfall in the forecast.”
The drought has caused roads to crack in west Suffolk and the county council are attempting to gain funding to repair them.
