A cyclist is reported to have been injured in a collision with a car in Ipswich this morning.
Suffolk police said it had been contacted by the ambulance service at around 8.15am asking for assistance at the scene of a crash involving a cyclist and car in Nacton Road.
The cyclist is thought to have suffered an injured knee but is no longer in the road.
Suffolk police later described the injury as “minor”.
The AA website said traffic was slow due to the accident, which it reported as being near to the junction at Queen’s Way.
By 8.45am, however, emergency services were reported to have dealt with the incident.
An East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesman said: “We sent an ambulance crew to the scene who treated a man with a knee injury.
“The patient was treated at the scene and did not need to be transferred to hospital.”
